and Big News Coming Soon
Very Exciting times at Pelota Training!
Summer Recap
It was a jam-packed summer for Pelota Training! This summer we conducted over 550 sessions with a multitude of different players and clubs. One-on-one, duo, small group and full team sessions ran daily. Hundreds of players got plenty of touches on the ball and improved their technical ability.
New Additions to Staff
We are pleased to announce 4 new coaching additions to our staff!
Myles Mansfield has a great soccer background both as a player and coach. Myles had a great 4-year career at Elon University (D1). We are excited to add Myles to the staff and watch him help and develop the next generation of players.
Jenna Buto brings a lot of energy and passion for the game and inspires that in the players she trains. Jenna played a massive role in helping her Broadneck high school team win 2 state championships. She brings her experience as a player into her coaching, which is great to see. We can’t wait to see Jenna help develop our younger female players!
Joseph Velasquez was Pelota Training’s first ever player, and is now joining us on staff as a trainer. Joseph brings a ton of passion and has high standards for all players. We saw him develop as a player, and are excited to watch him give back and develop into a great trainer!
Christian Kershaw was a high-level player who played 4 years at Marshall. After finishing his playing career, he hopped right into coaching and excelled. He has experience with club, as well as college, coaching. Christian fits our staff perfectly. We are looking forward to Christian helping all the players develop and grow their game.
Website Upgrade
For the past several months we have been working on a full website update & upgrade! We are very excited to share it with you! Big thanks to Beth Pettler and her website development/marketing company “Yeah, What She Said”. They have been a great help and have done an amazing job for us!
Capelli X Pelota Training
We are pleased to announce we have signed a multi-year partnership deal with Capelli Sport!! This means we will be using all Capelli gear and equipment. We are thrilled to work with Capelli, as they are a “soccer first” athletic apparel company that is rapidly growing within the youth soccer landscape.
Luke Eberle First Pelota Training Sponsored Athlete
We are very excited to also announce our very first sponsored athlete! Luke Eberle was one of our most sought after trainer’s this past summer, so we wanted to return the favor and sponsor him as a player! Luke plays at Liberty University and is planning on doing anything he can to help grow the Pelota Training brand. We are extremely happy to have Luke on board and look forward to helping him with anything he needs in regard to his own growth and development as a player.
Looking Ahead
We are continuing to make big strides towards our goals and we are coming close to making some big-time changes for the players at Pelota Training. Big news is coming soon…stay tuned!
